The motor third party liability insurers are under the authorities’ scrutiny

The insurance companies have one year to comply with the law compelling them to market motor third party liability policies. In case they abstain from selling, the companies will be sanctioned. This decision comes following the institution of the new law governing road traffic implemented last August 28. This law requires insurance companies to offer third party liability covers to the insured upon their requests. It also requires the acknowledgement of a loss, ten days maximum after the establishment of a survey report.
