The new law governing the insurance sector is in force

The new law regulating the insurance business has come into effect as of April 1. It is the first significant legislative review of the last hundred years. It concerns only non-life insurance contracts. The commercial code will continue to prevail in marine insurance. The new law aims at adapting insurance to modern life and better protecting the policyholders.
