The supervising authority IRDA has taken action against ten companies

In light of the vast control campaign, the supervising authority IRDA has decided to inflict sanctions against ten companies for various fraud offences to the legislation in force. Depending on the seriousness of offences noted, sanctions vary from a mere fine to stiffer penalties such as activity suspension or license withdrawal.
