The women market, a new strategic customer segment

Women represent a market opportunity of 1000 billion USD for the insurance industry as highlighed in a study conducted by AXA, the IFC-World Bank and Accenture.

Globally, this niche could double in size between 2013 and 2030 to reach between 1452 and 1701 billion USD in premiums. In emerging countries overviewed by the study (Brazil, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Mexico, Morocco, Thailand, Turkey), the expected growth potential is even higher.

By 2030, the potential volume of premiums of this niche could be multiplied by 6 or 9 compared to 2013 to attain around 874 billion USD, that is half women's world market.
