The World Bank recommendations for the motor insurance market

The World Bank published a study about the Tunisian motor insurance market. This report, made public on September 21, 2015, includes a number of guideline,the implementation of which could significantly improve the quality of service and the losses of the class of business.

The conclusions of the study will focus on three priorities:

  • The reduction of claims repayment periods.
  • The establishment of a database that aims to empower and encourage the insured to improve their conduct.
  • The introduction of a compulsory insurance for small motorcycles.
