Trust Re embarks on aviation reinsurance

Trust Re is expanding its activities to aviation facultative reinsurance. The new department created for this purpose is managed by Wayne Murphy, who has a 24-year experience in aviation insurance.

The Afro-Asian markets such as the MENA region will be particularly targeted. To these countries, can be added Russia and the ex Soviet republics of Asia, Cyprus and Turkey. Hull, third party liability airports and airports service providers and suppliers are among the business accepted by Trust Re.

The reinsurer accepts both commercial companies risks as well as those related to general aviation.
The maximum capacity offered is 10 million USD for hull and 50 million USD for third party liability.
