UAP net profits is increasing by 31%

Kenyan insurer UAP posted its 2013 results, with gross premium revenues amounting to 12.7 billion KES (149 million USD), an increase of nearly 40% over one year. In non life insurance, the increase was of 39% versus 55% in life.

The posted net income amounted to 1.8 billion KES (21 million USD), that is an increase of 27% compared to the previous year. This is the most important result ever reported by the company. This performance was achieved thanks to a strategy of successful regional diversification.
