Unpaid premiums, Cameroonian insurers are following CIMA’s recommendation

The cabinet of CIMA zone member countries amended article 13 of the insurance law in April 2011. By virtue of the new decree, companies will be required to cover the insured only after full settlement of the premium. The association of Cameroonian insurance companies organized last December a seminar designed to introduce the new reform before its enforcement in Cameroon on January 1, 2012.
