Vehicle green card, higher sales

Moroccan nationals are more likely to travel abroad by car. This is what reveals the Moroccan insurance office (BCMA), which manages the green cards. The number of green cards issued grew by 26.3% to 90 700 between 2011 and 2012. A smaller increase is expected in 2013. Compensation of victims abroad jumped by 53% at 42 million MAD (4.9 million USD) in 2012. Nearly 52% of these claims were held in France, 41% in Spain and 2.5% in Great Britain.
