Vietnam Airlines is insuring its fleet for the years 2015 and 2016

The Vietnam Airlines national aviation company announced having signed a two-year insurance contract for the 2015 -2016 period for its entire fleet. Associated under this contract, are the two subsidiaries of Vietnam Airlines, namely Jetstar Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Air Sevices.

The contract covering capitals of around 6 billion USD was underwritten by a consortium of three insurers: PVI Holdings, Vietnam National Aviation Insurance and Baoviet Holdings.
At the end of 2014, Vietnam Airlines had a fleet of 89 aircrafts which it plans to increase to 110 in the end 2015.
