Virtual HR Manager: insurers could be interested

A Russian start-up has managed to create "Vera", a virtual human resources manager. The artificial intelligence software is able to sort candidates' CVs and to conduct distant interviews either by phone or by video chat.

Nearly 13 billion sentences were needed to develop Vera's vocabulary. The software will soon be able to also recognize the emotions of candidates during the interviews.

In less than six months , 300 companies including Pepsi-Co, Ikea and L'Oréal have adopted Vera. For the same period, the software carried out 2300 interviews.

Insurers could be well tempted by this HR manager inspired by a science fiction movie.
