Vitamin D to prevent severe cases of Covid-19
A growing number of studies have linked a vitamin D deficiency to severe cases of Covid-19. The latest study in Spain shows 184 cases of vitamin D deficiency in a sample of 230 patients: 80% of the total number.
To confirm such a result, a study on 5 000 people over a period of six months has been launched in England.
It should be noted that vitamin D has already been proven effective against the flu and colds. WHO recommends taking it during low-sunlight seasons.
