2027 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon

The Sanlam Group will host, on 23 May 2027, a new edition of the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon (South Africa).

Following the success of the 2026 edition, the race becomes the eighth event in the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM), an international competition that brings together the most prestigious and significant marathons in the world.

It is also the first AbbottWMM race to take place on the African continent.
