The 3rd annual seminar for MENA supervisors (regulators only) will be held on 29 and 30 April 2025 in Muscat (Oman) under the theme: “Expanding insurance in the Middle East and North Africa: key challenges and market development opportunities”.
MENA insurance regulators will come together to discuss the following issues:
- the vital role of regulation in fostering robust and inclusive markets
- the impact of technological innovation on the sector's development
- the challenges of climate change, sustainability and digital transformation.
- capacity-building levers for the supervisors of tomorrow
The event is co-organized by the Financial Services Authority of Oman (FSA) and the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), with the support of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), the Financial Stability Institute (FSI) and the International Actuarial Association (IAA).
