ACAPS creates a unit dedicated to innovation and insurtech

The Moroccan Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) has established a unit focused on promoting the innovation and development of the insurtech ecosystem.

The new structure has been assigned two main missions:

• to accompany innovative project leaders by ensuring their compliance with the current regulations
• to provide support to insurers and reinsurers in order to enable them to interact with insurtechs

This initiative is aimed at improving the customer experience, promoting insurance inclusion and contributing to the development of the regulatory framework.
