Alexandra Cliff, new CFO of Lloyd's of London

Alexandra Cliff has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Lloyd's of London. The appointment will take effect on 1 May 2025.

She is taking over from Burkhard Keese, who is leaving the group to devote himself to investment activities in the German insurance market.

A graduate of Edinburgh University (Scotland), A. Cliff has over 20 years' professional experience in the financial sector, particularly insurance. After stints with PwC, Towergate Financial Services, Gallagher, Aspen Insurance, StarStone Insurance and Direct Line, A. Cliff joined Lloyd's of London in November 2022 as Deputy CFO.
