Allianz and Microsoft: strategic cooperation

A strategic partnership agreement has been signed between Allianz and Microsoft for the digital transformation in insurance. As a result, the German insurer moves part of its global insurance platform, Allianz Business System (ABS) to Microsoft Azure, a more open and flexible cloud-computing platform.

At the same time, Syncier, the startup founded by Alliaz, will provide other insurers and brokers with elements of the ABS platform in the form of cloud services. Allianz manages more than 60 million insurance policies in several countries.
