On 30 June 2024, Allianz Maroc topped the 1 billion MAD (98.6 million USD) turnover mark for the first time in its history. It reached 1.005 billion MAD (99.1 million USD), up by 21% compared to the 828.4 million MAD (82.5 million USD) recorded during the same period of 2023.
Non-life premiums increased by 16% to 827.6 million MAD (81.6 million USD). Life underwriting amounted to 177.8 million MAD (17.5 million USD), representing a 53% progression over one year.
Growth in overall turnover was underpinned by the development of the corporate and motor classes of business.
The Moroccan insurer closed the first two quarters of the current financial year with a net income of 57.2 million MAD (5.6 million USD), against 24.2 million MAD (2.4 million USD) at the end of June 2023, showing a 136% improvement.
