Anuj Agarwal, new CEO of Gulf General Cooperative Insurance

Anuj Agarwal has been appointed CEO of Gulf General Cooperative Insurance. He succeeds Khalid Allagany. The appointment took effect on 16 June 2025.

A. Agarwal brings over 30 years' experience in the insurance industry, including 24 years with Allianz. He has held a number of executive positions, including CEO of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance (India) and Allianz Saudi Fransi (Saudi Arabia), as well as CFO of Allianz Insurance Egypt.

A. Agarwal is a graduate of Netaji Subha University of Technology and the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (India).
