ASAC: color code for motor insurance policies

The Association of Insurance Companies of Cameroon (ASAC) is using new colors for motor insurance policies. The solution, which came into effect on 1 May 2021, categorizes the insured vehicles under three colors:

• brown for two- and three-wheelers
• green for public transport vehicles (taxis and buses)
• blue for other categories (private or company vehicles, construction equipment, pick-ups and trucks...)

Through this initiative, ASAC aims to combat fraud and stabilize the motor sector in Cameroon.
