«Attijari Assurance» , a new life insurance company

A new life insurance company has been established in Tunisia. It is the result of a partnership between Attijari Bank, the first bank in Tunisia in terms of agencies and Wafa Assurance, the first Moroccan insurer. Endowed with a capital of 10 million TND (6.4 million USD), «Attijari Assurance» is providing savings and provident death products through Attijari Bank network which has 185 agencies. The new company also plans to develop its own distribution network.
Moncef Chaffar has been appointed chairman of the board of directors and Ali Chraibi general manager.
