Autonomous car patents: Germany in the lead

Between 2010 and 2017, more than 5 800 patents for autonomous driving were filed by ten international companies, five of which are German.

At their head, Bosch, which alone filed 958 patents. This company is followed by Audi with 516 patents and Continental with 439 ones.
