AXA to sell its activities in Malaysia

AXA is selling its insurance activities in Malaysia to the Generali group. The sale includes the French insurer's 49.99% stake in Axa Affin General Insurance (AAGI) and 49% in Axa Affin Life Insurance (AALI). The transaction is valued at 140 million EUR (166.5 million USD).

The transaction, which is expected to be finalized in the second quarter of 2022, is still pending the approval of the competent authorities.
