The Saudi Cooperative Health Insurance Council (CHIC) has granted initial approval to 14 companies to provide health insurance services in Saudi Arabia. According to estimates, the insurance market in the Kingdom is expected to triple from USD 2 billion to USD 6.3 billion within the next 10 years.
