Chubb to acquire Liberty Mutual's P&C business in Thailand and Vietnam

Chubb has signed agreements to acquire Liberty Mutual's non-life (P&C) business in Thailand and Vietnam.

The two companies, LMG Insurance (Thailand) and Liberty Insurance (Vietnam), propose several P&C products, including motor, accident, health and fire insurance.

Pending regulatory approvals, the transactions are expected to be finalized by the second quarter of 2025 for Thailand, and by the end of 2025 or early 2026 for Vietnam.
