CNMA to introduce agricultural disaster insurance scheme in the near future

The Caisse Nationale de Mutualité Agricole (CNMA) is working on the implementation of an agricultural disaster insurance scheme.

According to CNMA General Manager Cherif Benhabiles, the program will be launched very shortly.

The new product covers farmers against risks linked to climate change, including forest fires, floods and drought.
