The Compagnie Méditerranéenne d’Assurances et de Réassurances (COMAR) closed the 2024 financial year with a turnover of 270.6 million TND (84.7 million USD), marking a 2.7% year-on-year increase.
Non-life premiums rose by 2.5% to 262.7 million TND (82.2 million USD), while life insurance premiums reached 7.9 million TND (2.5 million USD), representing an 8.2% increase over twelve months.
The Tunisian insurer’s annual net profit climbed by 44% to 63.6 million TND (19.9 million USD), compared with 44.2 million TND (14.4 million USD) in 2023.
As of 31 December 2024, the company’s equity stood at 346 million TND (108.3 million USD), with share capital unchanged at 75 million TND (23.5 million USD).
