Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) has recorded a 7.5% increase in its annual turnover, which reached 50.057 billion DZD (366.4 million USD) in 2024, against 46.546 billion DZD (345.3 million USD) in 2023.
The Algerian reinsurer closed the past year with a net profit of 7.634 billion DZD (55.9 million USD), up 21.8% on the 6.27 billion DZD (46.5 million USD) posted twelve months earlier.
The combined ratio fell by 5.18 points, from 73.95% in 2023 to 79.13% a year later.
The company's shareholders' equity stood at 49.441 billion DZD (361.9 million USD) at end-December 2024, with a return on equity (ROE) of 18.26%. Share capital remains unchanged at 30 billion DZD (219.6 million USD).
