A Beechcraft plane belonging to “Tassili Airlines”, connecting Hassi-Messaoud to Ghardaia, with 5 people on board crashed on January 29, 2004, 10 kilometres short of its landing point. This accident claimed the life of one passenger, the co-pilot and caused the injury of four passengers.
