Diego Cervantes-Knox appointed new CEO of Ocean Re

Diego Cervantes-Knox has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Barbados-based reinsurer Ocean International Reinsurance (Ocean Re), succeeding Guillermo Eslava. His appointment took effect on 2 July 2026.

Cervantes-Knox brings extensive experience across the insurance, reinsurance, asset management, private equity, and financial services sectors. Before assuming the CEO role, he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Ocean Re.
