The 2024 Draft Finance Law provides for a series of measures specific to financial institutions, insurance and reinsurance companies.
Financial institutions, banks, insurers and reinsurers will be required to make a cyclical contribution to the State budget at a rate of 4% of the corporate tax base for profits earned in 2023 and 2024, with a minimum of 10 000 TND (3 300 USD).
Banks and insurance companies will also have 0.25% of their profits levied to finance a national fund dedicated to education reform.
