Fitch Ratings affirms SCR's rating

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the "AAA (mar)" financial strength rating of Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR). The outlook is stable.

The rating agency justifies its decision by the dominant position of the company on the Moroccan market, its strong capitalization and its good financial performance.

In 2020, the Moroccan reinsurer reported a combined ratio of 94% which improved by 1 point compared to 2019. Return on equity (ROE), also improved to 12%, compared to 11% in 2019.
