Generali has established a new business unit within its joint venture Future Generali India Insurance on 1 January 2025.
Named Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) India, the new entity will provide insurance solutions tailored to medium and large companies in India, covering property, third-party liability, engineering, and more.
Shib Shankar Saha has been appointed Head of GC&C India. He will report directly to Axel Roesner, Head of GC&C Asia.
Founded in 2013, Generali GC&C is a subsidiary of the Italian group that offers non-life (P&C) insurance solutions and services to medium and large companies and brokers in over 180 countries.
