GIC Re: 2023-2024 financial year results

General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) closed the financial year 2023-2024, ended 31 March 2024, with a turnover of 371.182 billion INR (4.5 billion USD), up by 1.6% compared to the 365.92 billion INR (4.4 billion USD) recorded a year earlier.

Net profit increased by 2.9% to reach 64.97 billion INR (779.6 million USD), against 63.13 billion INR (768.4 million USD) at the end of March 2023.

During the reporting period, the company's assets amounted to 1 782.86 billion INR (21.4 billion USD), representing a 13.5% growth over one year.
