Growth of the Bahrain insurance market by 6% in 2018

With 284 million BHD (750 million USD) in premiums, the Bahraini insurance market grew by 6% in 2018. This turnover increase is supported, among other things, by the recovery of the economic growth and the increase in the life expectancy.

Non-life insurance premiums rose by 7% during the period under review while life premiums increased by 5%.
