Important reforms will soon be implemented

According to the Algerian press, important reforms will soon be introduced in the insurance sector. Among the envisaged measures, we notice the privatization of the Compagnie Algérienne d’Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR) and The Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR), the increase of the minimum capital required for the creation of an insurance firm, and the requirement of the full liberation of share capital as a condition for license delivery.
