Insurance Federation of Egypt celebrates its 70th anniversary

The Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) celebrated its 70^th anniversary with a ceremony held on 11 February 2025, which brought together senior officials, executives and professionals from the insurance industry.

At the event, IFE Chairman Alaa El-Zoheiry presented the federation's achievements over the past seven decades, as well as its efforts and contributions to the development of the insurance sector, which has been present in Egypt for over 120 years.

A project to establish a museum to document the federation's history is currently under study.

The materials, archives and documents required for the implementation of this project are currently being collected.

The anniversary ceremony was also an opportunity to honor a number of key figures, including former Chairmen, General Secretaries and employees who have dedicated more than 30 years to the IFE.
