Ivorian insurance market: provisional turnover for 2025

Provisional data from the Ivorian insurance market indicate that total turnover reached 688.8 billion CFA francs (1.2 billion USD), representing a 10% increase from 626.6 billion CFA francs (995 million USD) at the end of 2024.

Non-life premiums rose by 7% to 386.8 billion CFA francs (693.6 million USD).

SanlamAllianz and GNA retained their first and second positions respectively in the 2025 ranking of non-life insurers, with a combined market share of 39.1%.

NSIA ranked third following a 16% increase in turnover to 28.6 billion CFA francs (51.3 million USD), ahead of SUNU, which moved down to fifth place.

After ranking ninth among Ivorian non-life insurers in 2024, SAAR advanced one position in 2025 to take eighth place. As at 31 December 2025, life insurance premiums amounted to 302 billion CFA francs (541.6 million USD), reflecting a 13% year-on-year increase.

SUNU Vie remains the market leader in life insurance, followed by SanlamAllianz Vie and NSIA Vie.
