Kenya Re establishes a training academy

Kenya Re has set up a training academy mainly dedicated to the company's clients.

The new structure, called the Kenya Re Academy, offers policyholders free training in reinsurance and direct insurance. The Academy is aimed, among other things, at improving knowledge and skills in the sector.

On 18 October 2023, the institution organized a seminar entitled "Fundamentals of reinsurance and claims management". The event brought together 33 participants from 25 insurance companies. This was the second seminar organized by the Kenya Re Academy, following the one on life insurance held on 4 October 2023.
