Lloyd Assurances has published its financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023. The company recorded gross written premiums amounting to 196.725 million TND (64 million USD) for all life and non-life classes of business combined.
The non-life premium income stood at 194.367 million TND (63.3 million USD) in 2023, compared with 157.508 million TND (50 million USD) a year earlier, marking a 23% increase. Life business progressed by 33%, going from 1.764 million TND (562 000 USD) at the end of 2022 to 2.357 million TND (767 760 USD) in 2023.
Non-life incurred losses increased by 20% to 115 million TND (37.5 million USD) in 2023. At 9.223 million TND (3 million USD), the net result for the year remains virtually unchanged from the previous year.
For the record, Lloyd Assurances was chosen in 2023 as “Best Motor Insurance in Tunisia” for the third year running.
