Madagascar to get insured against drought

On 11 October 2019, the Malagasy State underwrote a drought insurance policy with the insurance pool Afica Risk Capacity (ARC). This action is part of the partnership, signed in 2016, between the African Development Bank (AfDB) and ARC.

The partnership aims to better prepare for natural and meteorological disasters.
