Marocaine Vie and Société Centrale de Réassurance receive Takaful licenses

After WAFA Assurance, MAMDA and AtlantaSanad, the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) has granted Takaful licenses to two other companies.

Marocaine Vie received approval to create a Takaful subsidiary while Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) has been authorized to open a Takaful window.

The Moroccan market now counts four insurers and one reinsurer authorized to carry out Takaful activities.
