The Moroccan insurance market recorded turnover of 17.6 billion MAD (1.9 billion USD) in the second quarter of 2026, marking a 5.4% increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
Life insurance accounted for 9.4 billion MAD (989.7 million USD) in premiums, while non-life insurance generated 8.2 billion MAD (863.3 million USD).
Meanwhile, investments allocated to insurance operations stood at 238.4 billion MAD (25.1 billion USD) during the period under review, representing a 0.4% year-over-year decline.
