A new chart of accounts for insurance

The new accounting system has been validated by the national council of insurance (CNA) on March 10, 2011. It came into force since January 1, 2010. Insurance companies must now submit their balance sheets under the new standards. The old accounting system designed in the 1970s was no longer in consistency with the economic environment.
