New insurance company Al Gasr Insurance

Five local insurance companies have decided to underwrite jointly at 20% of the capital of the Qatari insurance company Al Gasr Insurance. The new company will be in charge of delivering motor insurance policies for the vehicles which will be driving across the bridge that will link Qatar to Bahrain. Solidarity, BNI, BKIC, United and Medgulf will each disburse 1 million BHD (2.6 million USD). The company's capital is set at 25 million BHD (66.3 million USD).
