A new insurance company is born in France

On 14 December 2022, LMG Assurances was granted approval by the French supervisory authority, the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR), to carry out insurance activities in France.

Created by La Mutuelle Générale (LMG), the new entity is now licensed to conduct life, death, health and accident insurance operations.

Sources revealed that the transaction is part of a merger project between the French mutual and CNP Assurances.
