New retirement pensions for exceptional beneficiaries

Given the current economic difficulties, the Ministry of Finance has pledged to appoint a committee in charge of drafting a law designed to improve pensions. The new law will try to be more fair than the one currently in force which grants pension, exceptionally, only to public sector employees earning more than 500 EGP (88 USD), excluding, thus, those in the private sector, non-regular workers and expatriates.
