Oman Re obtains Retakaful license

Oman Re received approval from the Omani Capital Market Authority (CMA) to carry out Retakaful operations on 22 February 2024.

The Sultanate's sole reinsurer is now authorized to conduct Sharia-compliant Takaful reinsurance business.

This window represents new growth opportunities for Oman Re, allowing it to meet the ever-growing needs of its insurers.
