Omar Gouda new president of IFTI

The International Federation of Takaful and Islamic Insurance Companies (IFTI) has announced the election of Egyptian Omar Gouda as the new president of the federation. Omar Gouda succeeds Abdel Raouf Kotb who held the same functions from 2016 to 2018.

The announcement was made during the IFTI Board meeting on October 28th, 2018 in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Omar Gouda is the current Managing Director of Africa ReTakaful (Cairo), a subsidiary of Africa's leading reinsurer headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
