Online underwriting of motor insurance policies in Bahrain

The Central Bank of Bahrain has called on Bahraini insurance companies to develop online motor insurance services.

Issuing, renewing insurance policies and settling claims will now be conducted via digital channels.

The insurers have until 31 December 2021 to comply with the new Central Bank guidelines.
